Is there a Discord for the sim?
No, we don’t use Discord. We’ve seen how arguments on Discord can bleed into in-world roleplay, which can disrupt the community. We prefer to keep everything within the roleplay space.
I am still unclear of the way someone ends up in Vero if they are not supernatural of the main species...

If I want to arrive kidnapped by Slaver, where do I start?

Can I post roleplay hooks in the Vero group?
Yes, please.
Can I ride a vehicle?
Yes. Just don't leave it rezzed if you are a tenant. If you're not a tenant you'll have to wear your vehicle as rezzing without group is not possible at the time.
Can I set Home to the sim?
You can if you are a tenant or subtenant.
Where can I recruit for my roleplay?
There are boards at the landing: post there.
Why the bus stops?
Those are teleporters for fast travel in-sim and, of course, as most things around, it's also a sex equipment.
Will there be a list of equipments with sex engine?
We wouldn't even know where to begin. Better explore but even graffiti may have a sex engine at this point.
Where can I find the temples?"
The Temple of Jupiter is the one at the main square; the Temple of Bacchus is the very fey gathering place where he's in the middle of the pool; and the Temple of Diana is inside a cave in the forest across from the biker bar.
I'm not a tenant. Can I rez props?
No, we don't want to be give opportunity for grievers so, sadly, we have auto-return on
Does wi-fi exist in Vero? Can we use the internet?
It does have an intraweb. Contact with the outside world is barred. The year is 2025. It means that, aside from your powers and abilities, you can use your phone to call people and businesses, you can text, you can Tinder (read the Guidelines), you have access to the internet and what not. The main species gathering points have phone numbers that are public (just IM icly someone who is in the place at that moment and if you are doing that during a scene, post in open what you are doing). There's even Fangflix.
Who are the sim NPCs? Why animesh?
Animesh is a great way to further a scene. Because you can select to control the menu of the animesh, you can make it act towards your 'victim', so to speak. Our NPCs are scattered around and you surely can include them in your narrative. We have the following:
Granpa Bernie: A Bella Morte vampire turned on his 60s who chose to not become younger or handsome. He rules the Red Light District and owns many whores that he manipulates with his powers. Always eager to see who will sit on his lap next, he loves to abuse humans.
Leander: Sexy wereleopard rasta, addicted to a good time, he works at the Basement. Excellent dancer, smooth talker, lovebug good vibes.
Verena: The fey whore who wasn't pretty enough to be admitted to court, she is always on display with her massive tits.
Mieko: Innocent little Japanese girl, she is forever virgin as Bernie keeps on healing her and rolling her mind after every use. She is still unsure how she ended up at the Basement.
Ling: Mieko's twin who got luckier and works at the laundromat. She loves to be a blood doll and does anything for cash.
Mary: She somehow got lost in Vero and found shelter in a van near The Howl. Cursed by fey to be like Sleeping Beauty, she is often the preferred victim of kinky people who love someone who won't wake up.
Club Strippers: They don't have names, they are just slaves. In fact, they are tip jars and if you pay them, they will strip naked for you.
Roleplay & Character Influence:
You've mentioned various influences of different genres, the most polemic being Gor. How does Gor fit in it all?
Gor influences only one aspect of the sim, specifically slave training and the harsh, often dehumanizing treatment of slaves. The Gor approach to slavery differs greatly from consensual BDSM, which is rooted in communication and mutual consent and would be more fitting to the role of servant.
Can you expand more about the differences of Gorean slavery vs. BDSM so I can decide if I want to be slave or servant?
In the world of Gor, slavery is non-consensual. Slaves are either captured, bought, or born into servitude and have no personal autonomy or rights. The power dynamic is one of complete dominance and subjugation, often enforced through physical punishment, humiliation, and dehumanization. The treatment of slaves is harsh, and IC consent is not part of the equation (but OOC is). Slaves are viewed as property rather than individuals, and their suffering is often considered an accepted part of their existence. The relationship between Master and slave is defined by absolute control with no regard for the emotional safety or personal boundaries of the slave.
BDSM, on the other hand, is built on the foundation of consent, communication, and mutual respect. All parties involved in a BDSM relationship or scene agree to their roles, boundaries, and limits before anything begins. Consent is the cornerstone, and it is emphasized that all participants are fully aware of and comfortable with the dynamic. BDSM emphasizes negotiation, where each party has the power to set their limits and can revoke consent at any time. Opposed to Gor, there is also a focus on aftercare, ensuring that all participants feel emotionally safe and cared for after a scene.
The power dynamic in Gor is rigid and absolute. In BDSM, the power dynamic is negotiated and can be fluid. In Gor, emotional well-being is often disregarded in favor of dominance and submission. In BDSM, emotional safety is central.
Because of these significant differences, we prefer to keep the role of slave separate from the role of servant.
Can I roleplay that I'm Gorean then?
In a nutshell, yes, but very hush hush. We don’t encourage mixing too much of the Gorean lifestyle with the roleplay here and saying that you came from another planet might get funny reactions just like in real life. If it’s important to your character, you can include Gorean elements in a private storyline, such as your character coming from Gor or another world, reverse acquisition, or even being from Seda (our former mixed sim). However, it’s best to keep that part of your character’s background private to avoid clashing with the community’s shared experience.
Servants x Human Servant. What's the difference?
A "human servant" is the unique human chosen by a Master vampire and marked ritualistically to be his/her EXTENSION - read more about it under Humans.
Species & Creatures:
Will leaders of the species know I am in Vero?
Yes. Access to Vero is controled by border patrol and the screening process is intense on arrival. Assume you have been throughly screened and the leaders notified about your presence.
Where do the species gather/hang out/meet?
The teleport at the landing will drop you at the right door. In case of doubt, hang out at the Carnivalia.
Do I have to be a biker to be a werewolf?
No, you can be whatever you like.
Which other species could be suggested?
None. We already have enough
But I have a group of more than 3 for a species that isn't listed. What can we do?
Adequate to the suggested ones.
I have an animesh attachable companion. Can I wear it and roleplay that's the animal form of someone in sim?
Alpha lycans can shift at will as part of their powers, independent of the moon phase. I was asked if a pet companion could be impersonation of a shifted character that is played in the sim. A bit polemic but, in a nutshell, yes. We will trust this to not be abused for cosmetics sake. However, if you are in a scene and that companion is with you while its player is offline, you probably need to inform them what they have witnessed and you need blanket permission to control their actions during it.
Can I try to take over a group IC?
Sure. You can also form a new one.
Can there be more than one lycan pack?
Yes.
I already start my rp as a species but I don't want to be that anymore, however I don't want to kill my ongoing storyline. What to do without re-rolling?
Go to the fey and ask them to release you from whatever is infecting you so you can be properly reinfected by something more of your tastes. However, remember, fey magic comes with a price.
I don't want to be subject of present leader of my chosen species. What do I do?
You're not forced to.
Can I challenge for lycan leadership randomly?
Nope, that's an arena event. If there will be blood, all surely would love to watch someone get eaten.

Can I rent more prim?
All rentals have enough prim to sufficiently furnish them without exaggeration. If you really need more prim, you can always rent a second place, but remember, you'll be taking away the opportunity of another player to have their own private spot. Do you really need it?
Why can't I teleport to a rental from the map and keep returning to the landing point?
Because the sim is set to forced TP to the landing. When you click the map, it shows a beacon of where the rental is, and that will still be there when you TP down through the portal. Sadly, you'll have to walk towards it, unless you have the land group.
How do I add a tenant?
Just click on the rental box and the option will be there. The system will send them the group automatically.
I want to quit my rental. Can I get a refund?
As explained in the guidelines, we don't refund rentals.
Can I use temp rezzer?
Hard no.
