Jupiter, the king of the Roman gods, is the perfect deity for vampires due to his embodiment of power, immortality, and authority. As the supreme ruler of the gods, he represents dominance and hierarchy—principles that resonate with the maintenance of the pact that holds Vero together.

Like Jupiter, vampires are immortal, existing beyond the confines of time, and are often seen as aristocratic figures who rule over humans and other supernatural beings.

Jupiter’s association with justice, order, and retribution mirrors how vampires enforce strict control within their communities, swiftly and decisively punishing any transgressions.

Furthermore, Jupiter’s thunderbolt symbolizes both fear and destructive force, much like the fearsome nature of Magnus' lineage, The Earthmover, who possess the power to bring about cataclysmic destruction. Vampires, like Jupiter, use their strength to dominate and intimidate. As a protector of hierarchy and enforcer of cosmic order, Jupiter perfectly reflects the qualities that define a vampire's existence: eternal, powerful, and unyielding.

In addition, Jupiter is not only the god of thunder, lightning, rain, and clouds, but also a symbol of divine retribution. His sacred animal, the eagle, represents strength and sovereignty. Similarly, Magnus, though different in symbolism, shares a parallel connection to Jupiter’s mighty qualities. Magnus' symbol, the lion, represents courage, dominance, and an unyielding will, mirroring the same strength and regal nature that Jupiter personifies. Both figures command respect and embody power—Jupiter through his celestial rule and Magnus through his earth-shaking lineage, reinforcing their shared dominion and divine influence.
